- Set and implement the overall supply chain strategy
- Manage the execution of different tools and methodologies to enable effective implementation of logistic plans
- Prepare the department annual budget and comply with it through securing fewer prices for the materials, different providers with good prices & different customs brokers
- Manage supply risks and set suitable mitigation plans
- Collaborate with production team
- Work closely with the sales team
- Building good relations with suppliers
- Contribute to secure a sufficient stock of the raw and support materials in line with the sales plans and being a part of sales optimization process
- Responsible for the day to day management of planning, purchase, warehouse and logistics activities; this includes, but not limited to:
- Being active part in setting, reviewing and monitoring the implementation of action plans for these functions
- Manage the purchase processes and make sure costs are always optimized
- Ensuring the integrity of documentation processes for all Supply Chain functions
- Preparing and maintaining a delivery schedule and communicating with all relevant departments
- Follow up inventory balance and coordinate with warehouses for the arrival of new shipments
- Continual review of shipping and arrival dates
- Preparing for new orders based on market needs.
- Manage warehouses and all related inventory control activities
- Create reports and analyze data
- Train, develop, mentor, and assist subordinates
- Determine key supply chain KPIs for process improvements
