Job Description
- Maximize company sales growth and profitability by effectively leading the merchandising team in delivering an engaging experience to every customer, every time.
- In collaboration with the Store manager, coordinate the implementation and execution of the visual merchandising plan for the store as directed by the Visual Merchandising Department.
- Contribute to leadership responsibilities as a member of the management team.
- Maintain a strong, visible and positive presence throughout the store.
- Possess and demonstrate a clear understanding of Store visual merchandising standards and concepts indicated in the applicable design resources, and the ability to use them effectively and creatively.
- Maintain, enforce and supervise visual merchandising standards within the store, plan and execute the store’s floor plan with the assistance of the merchandising team.
- Ensure full understanding and awareness of all current product and product information.
- Evaluate and analyze the success of the merchandising plan with regard to sales, implementing changes as needed.
- Partner with the Store manager to train and develop merchandising associates on operations, product knowledge, visual merchandising, and customer service.
- Utilize applicable reporting and tools to manage inventory levels and evaluate merchandising decisions.
- Collaborate with the Store manager on a regular basis regarding scheduling of merchandising associates, tasks and training.
- Support and model excellent service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm toward the job and the company to both internal and external customers in all forms of communication.
- Maintain awareness and demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of computers, systems and programs relevant to the position.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. in any discipline Fine Arts Degree is Preferred
- 5+ years of retail visual experience Proficiency in PowerPoint, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Proven leadership, training, and coaching experience.
- Proven ability to manage & prioritize multiple projects.
- Strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
- Problem solving and good presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability in visual merchandising execution.
