Job Description
Job Purpose/Summary:
Develop project's baseline schedule, allocate resource and construct activities work breakdown structure “WBS”, projects budget, and cash flow plans. Follow-up and maintains optimally efficient planning studies and generates reports about projects progress, and introduce projects earned values. Work closely with site managers and other engineers to ensure a project runs on schedule and that material supplies are sufficient. Reviews development proposals with tender department to ensure compliance with codes and regulations and participate to estimate a timescale for a project to ensure that the outlined deadlines are met. Manages all general planning issues for a department or project.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities;
- Deciding on the most appropriate engineering techniques and sequences of activities for each project stage, supervises planning requirements for department, division, projects as may needed.
- Prepares proposals time schedule and site plans in conformity with codes, local and national regulations
- Develop schedule, plans; using specialized design software packages ensuring plans meet the contract specifications time line; deadline that meets clients expectations.
- Supervising the project at all stages and providing solutions to problems follow up to update, estimations for timescales and costs..
- Collaborating with site managers, surveyors, engineers, site worker and other professionals, ensuring procedures are carried out safely.
- Acts as intermediary between community, developers, government entities, and business units, handles rezoning, site plans, special-use permits, and related materials.
- Gathers relevant statistical data and drafts reports on issues such as demographic information, occupancy rates, and land use
- Sets schedule for project or development and flow of requisite materials
- Supervises other planning personnel, such as consultants and developers
- Prepares budget and oversees expenditures
- Sets goals, policies, and procedures for project
- Interprets and evaluates legal documents and relevant legislation to assess impact on project
- Offers employee trainings and development
- Communicates with other managers, supervisors, and colleagues throughout project
- Performs surveys and field studies

Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering with relevant Major/ Grad. MBA/ PMP is a plus.
- Excellent Command on English Language, fluency in read, write and communicate.
Experience:
- 6-9 Years of experience in similar role is essential. With Min. of 15 years preferred in the Engineering/Construction industries.
Competencies:
- Demonstrated appropriate skills with Software, ERP system, MS Office Suite in order to create well structured documents, spreadsheets, presentations, reports and other documents.
- Demonstrate leadership that challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor.
- Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully, wit ability to resolves and/or escalates issues timely.
