Job Description
- The Pre-Sales Engineer supports sales productivity and deal flow by securing the “technical close” in complex solutions.
- Responsible for identifying and defining technology solutions, preparing statements of work, Technical Proposals, Visio diagrams, and presentation documentation to articulate solutions.
- Participating in Pre-Sales activities to define client requirements based on the company’s portfolio of services
- Collaborates with the company’s sales, IT, and Services Departments resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers.
- Pro actively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers’ met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the company.
- Coordinates closely with sales, IT, and service resources to align solution design with customers’ business requirements.
- The Pre-Sales Engineer will report to Pre-Sales Deputy Manager.
Job Requirements
- Must have proven Experience in one or more of the following
Oracle Fusion Middleware (Web Center, SOA Suite, Service Bus (OSB), Universal Content Manager (UCM), Oracle OBIEE and Advanced Analytics…etc.) - BM Middleware and Information Management (IBM WebSphere, IBM Integration Bus, Enterprise Content Management, Data Management and Analytics)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise Solutions
- Certification in any of the above is preferred
- 2+ years of experience as a pre-sales or technical engineer
- Demonstrate ability to develop technical proposals, solution presentations, statements of work, Visio diagrams etc.
- Demonstrate ability to define client needs and explain technical concepts
