Job Description
Curriculum Designing
- Reviewing Ministry of education books for Community school and the national standards for the subject
- Extract diagnostic objectives from each lesson
- Create Educate Me objectives for English language for the 6 primary years
- Design extra activities to meet diagnostic objectives
- Design the scope and sequence of activities and lessons per the linguistic point of view
- Align the sequence of lessons and activities with MOE books
- Document the curriculum
Curriculum Training
- Design and deliver trainings for facilitators on how to teach English language
- Document the trainings
- Design facilitator toolkit
- Handover Curriculum to School supervisor/Principle and facilitators
- Design facilitators guide for Assessments and evaluation
- Attend weekly follow ups
Skills Integration
- Adding Educate Me Skills and Values to the lessons
- Design and Deliver trainings to facilitators for skills and values implementation in the curriculum
- Document the process
Job Requirements
- Education: Faculty of Education or Diploma /masters in education, teaching or curriculum design especially English is a must.
- Specialized knowledge: English Curriculum designing
- Skills: organized- committed- critical thinker- fast learner- hard worker
