Computer Teacher

• Teaching KG-level students

Duties:

• Establishes appropriate instructional goals and related objectives consistent with school policy and vision.
• Prepares instructional plans and material, incorporating principles of effective instruction, and ensuring best use of available time.
• Creates, selects, or modifies instructional plans and materials to accommodate learning differences and styles.
• Provides clear structures for lesson, maintaining pace, motivation, and challenge.
• Fosters a classroom culture of caring and respect.
• Maintains discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures and encouraging good practice with regards to punctuality, behavior, standards of work and homework.
• Ensure students acquire and consolidate knowledge, skills and understanding appropriate to the subject taught.
• Maintains official grade report as prescribed by school policy.
• Communicates student progress based on assessment results to students, Supervisor and parents on a regular basis.
• Makes effective use of available resources.
• Evaluates own teaching critically to improve effectiveness, and improves his/her own professional skills and knowledge.
• Liaise with Supervisor to ensure the implementation of department policy and best practice.
• Assess how well learning objectives have been achieved and use them to improve specific aspects of teaching.
• Provides clear, detailed plans for substitutes.
• Completes assigned tasks on schedule, arrives in time for class, meetings and other scheduled activities.
• Works and communicates effectively with all staff members.
• Attends staff meetings and serves on staff committees as required.
