Job Description
The Quality Assurance Engineer reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and will have primary responsibility for development and maintenance of quality standards and documentation. A Quality Assurance engineer helps organization monitor its support functions and projects compliance against defined standards as well as helps in defining, evaluating, planning, and implementing related processes in business and technical domains and practices. Other aspects of the job can include:
- Assists in planning and executing process improvement projects.
- Assists in providing consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
- Maintains and updates all process related documents for reference purposes.
- Preparing training material, and Train resources in process related activities and improvement techniques.
- Conducts formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development life cycle and monitor conformance with QA standards and procedures.
- Audits different process areas with process owners
- Assists in Monitoring process performance and improvements in key metrics through compiling and tracking data.
- Conduct customer satisfaction surveys, as well as internal surveys.
- Assist in conducting root cause analysis for internal and external issues
Job Requirements
- IT Service/Software life cycle knowledge, ITIL
- Experience in internal/external audits
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Visio, MS Forms, Word and Excel
