Job Description
General Description (Purpose and Function):
The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Technical Implementer directs the technical activities of the ERP solution. This individual is responsible for creation of the technical test plan and training materials necessary for the implementation and the operation of the ERP solution.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Tests, and debugs ERP software.
- Assist in such day-to-day operations as troubleshooting problems arising from regular use, production support, and maintaining the ERP platform.
- Develop scripts for data merging and migration
- Provide client support, consultation, and subject matter expertise for day-to-day operations, maintenance, and support.
- Prioritizes user requirements and technical requirements.
- Documents all technical processes, requirements, flows and diagrams.
- Writes reports, document and present analyses, project status, risks and issues.
- Identifies tasks and interrelationships to evaluate technical and cross-technical requirements.
- Recommends solutions to identified problems.
- Ensure delivery of projects on time and within the budget.
- Participate in cross-technical, cross- discipline project teams to better leverage the Enterprise Resource Planning systems
- Provides the operational support for developing and maintaining the enterprise information reports.
- Support the ERP initiatives in design, development and implementation of plans to translate enterprise information system objectives into technical business systems.
- Supports in the development and maintenance of the enterprise data/information model and information flows.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Authority
- Identifies gaps in the enterprise data/information model and addresses them actively in collaboration with the enterprise business support teams.
- Maintains system alignment with the information lifecycle.
- Coordinates information/data changes that occur as part of system life cycle to ensure consistency with the enterprise data/information model.
- Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion.
- Performs all responsibilities within the guidelines of enterprise policies and directives at or above the enterprise’s performance and evaluation standards.
- Is a resourceful problem-solver, leveraging internal and partner resources in assigned opportunities where and when needed to do what’s right for the enterprise.

- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to lead in-depth technology discussions, articulating the business value of a technology solution.

Education Requirements (Essential Requirements):
- Degree in computer science, or related field; or equivalent experience recommended.
Work Experience Requirements (Essential Requirements):
- Three (3) to Five (5) years’ experience in ERP Implementation or Systems Analysis.
- Experience with data sharing standards and architecting scalable service oriented solutions.
- Experience in an environment where business knowledge is leveraged to listen proactively for service management improvements opportunities.
- Deep technical skills with the ability to translate the feature and function set into business solutions.
