Carry-out site visits
Attend/ conduct meetings that involve technical issues with concerned parties.
Communicate directly with the client to gather all required data and to resolve any technical issues.
Coordinate with and manage the project team to ensure producing environmental studies and reports up to required standards.
Produce technical reports/studies.
Guide the work of the Environmental Specialists, and Junior Environmental Specialists, only in the specific projects taken over by the Senior Environmental Specialist.
Follow up on and supervise Environmental Specialists, and Junior Environmental Specialists, in the specifically assigned projects.
Enforce the internal work procedures agreed upon with the Technical Team Lead.
Immediately report to supervisors possible delays in the execution of projects or in the performance of assigned tasks and propose remedial actions.
Ensure that all assigned tasks are fully accomplished and meet deadlines.
Prepare and conduct technical presentations.
Prepare a weekly updated progress report and communicate it with the Operation Team Lead.
Prepare training materials.
Conduct training.
Mentor specifically assigned Junior Environmental Specialists.

At least 5 years of practical work experience in environmental consulting.
Holds or currently pursuing MSc. in environmental engineering / environmental sciences
Good organizational skills and a goal-oriented approach to task completion.
Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully, both orally and in writing (English & Arabic) with customers, regulatory officials, and co-workers regarding technical and administrative matters.
Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal direction and under pressure.
Willing to travel inside and outside Egypt.
