Moneyfellows clients are financial institutions; online savers/lenders and e-commerce companies who want to be more efficient in serving the middle class, and in the case of lenders make credit available to a larger portion of the population (especially to those who are not conventionally credit scored). This is a fast-paced, startup work environment with aggressive goals but where you have a lot of latitude with how you deliver results.

Our aim is to improve financial inclusion for at least 1 billion people around the world using Alternative Credit Scoring and Social Verifications based on non-traditional data.

Main Duties:

• Main task is to discover information hidden in the vast amount of data we are collecting about our clients to help us better credit score our users
• Selecting, building and optimizing classifiers for machine learning techniques
• Data mining using new innovative techniques
• Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
• Work with research scientists/engineers to develop, prototype and productize new machine learning and graph algorithms operating on big data such as social scoring, payment behaviors, web browsing, salary and other verifications, etc.
• Design, build and support scalable big data pipeline/workflows for behavioral and social algorithms.
