Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Front-end developer to join our software team. You will be responsible for building the ‘client-side' of our web applications. You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.
Responsibilities
- Developing new user-facing features using React.js or Vue.js.
- Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed.
- Design mobile-based features.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent.
- Proven working experience in web development for at least 2 years.
- Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
- Thorough understanding of React.js/Vue.js and its core principles.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues.
- Knowledge of SEO principles.
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools { such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial }
