Job Description
- Lead your team to deliver software that is modular and scalable
- Contribute to software development across all parts of the stack
- Participate in the full SDLC (Agile), including meetings, iterative development, review and design sessions
- Evaluate new technologies and choose the right tools for your team
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code adheres to development standards
- Coach and mentor junior developers as needed to build code to adhere to standards
- Support a culture of knowledge sharing and software best practices
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience and proficiency in one of the following programming languages: Java, PHP, Go or JavaScript along with 2 years of experience in leading a team size of 3-6 software developers
- Implement OOP skills; you know what Clean Code means and you are familiar with the S.O.L.I.D principles, common design patterns and you know in which context to apply them
- Experience in working with large-scale e-commerce systems
- Being capable of developing both Backend and Frontend components
- Knowledge of designing and implementing APIs, preferably RESTful APIs
- Working knowledge of building Docker containers for a production project
- Experience with at least one open source RDBMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar
- Preferred Experience: knowledge of least one NoSQL engines such as MongoDB/Cassandara; using messaging queues like RabbitMQ / Kafka
