Job Description

We are searching for a Business Development Manager, who will be primarily responsible for attracting new business clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual that strives to make a difference.

  • Develop negotiation strategies and positions by studying the integration of new ventures, ideas, and possibly platforms with the company’s strategy and operations; and also examining risks and potentials as well as estimating partners' needs and goals.
  • Design and implement all strategies and activities and ensure adherence to all project requirements and prepare all documents within the required timeframe and schedule efficient activities and identify appropriate methods in assistance with clients.
  • Develop and implement plans to reach a large base of clients in an efficient and sustainable way.
  • Ensure all sales projects are delivered in line with plans, budgets, and quality expected.
  • Propose company services that best meet the potential client’s business needs.
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, develop and negotiate contracts in collaboration with the legal team as well as integrate contract requirements with business operations.
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and events.
  • Protects the organization's value by keeping the information confidential.
  • Developing effective sales plans using a suitable sales methodology.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the client's needs.
  • Develop and execute marketing programs to promote the company's brand.
  • Drive business growth
  • Conduct market and customer research

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Equivalent relative to Field Expertise.
  • Minimum 7 years as prior experience in B2B sales at the Manufacturing field
  • B2B background with Plastic, raw materials or petrochemicals selling experience (Must)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Ability to initiate and develop personal and professional relationships in the industry.
  • Proven leadership skills used to identify key internal personnel and drive the pursuit efforts forward while maintaining the ultimate needs of the Owner.
  • Strong personal and Company branding skills. Able to infuse and exude Company values into personal brand and daily interactions.
  • Developed investigation and research skills to uncover new opportunities for Area or Company growth or coordination.
  • Developed knowledge of estimating and proposal processes and procedures used to liaise between internal departments and external vendors or Owners.
  • Proven contract negotiation skills required. Able to identify inconsistencies or outliers in contract specifications that could increase Company risk or expense.
  • Proven ability to identify measure and facilitate the needs of the Owner during the pre-bid, bid and project phases to support positive Company relationship through the life of the project.
  • proven ability to establish profitable relationships with decision makers at companies and organizations.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Alexandria resident is a must.
