Job Description
Innovation:
- Develop the strategy and methodology criteria for assessing the ideas and solutions till having a shortlisted solutions to be included in the EBU roadmap
- Work closely with partnership team to build the effective and coherent digital ecosystem for Etisalat to embrace different layers of business strategies as well as service and infrastructure development.
- Contribute in defining the solution strategy to ensure proper planning for the product / solution lifecycle and maximum ROI.
- Identify the unique selling proposition
- Develop the detailed technical/ commercial product description documents (PD) and work closely with commercial solution design (CSD) to simplify impact analysis (IAS).
- Develop solutions for market development programs
Customer Centricity:
- Identify customer needs and put a customer centric strategy.
- Scan the market for the new product/solution ideas through meeting with vendors, Etisalat group, and attending webinars, industry events and conferences to ensure that we provide to the Egyptian market best-in-class products.
- Secure management alignment and approvals for concepts documents through gates (Commercial, Spotlight, CxO’s and GTM)
- Reduce churn by increasing customers’ stickiness and loyalty.
- Interface with different departments (Internally and externally) to ensure best class quality to the launched products and approve go-to-market and UAT (User Acceptance Test) which directly contribute to revenues.
- Draft the new services customer’s contract
- Ensure UAT (user acceptance test)
- Ensure Post production acceptance and soft launch activities.
Revenue Contribution:
- Tackling different segments (Consumer, SoHo, SME and Large Enterprises)
- Contribute in GSM revenues by bundling GSM services with new Solutions to upsell the GSM services
- Develop bundles and new products with price points.
- Securing the budget and targets through developing the business cases.
- Empower the sales by having “customization & enhancing the off the shelf products” to increase sales gross adds, revenues, customer satisfaction and decrease time to offer.
- Direct responsibility for revenues (3 months management) same as marketing team.
- Deliver approved product/service specification to time/scope and budget
- Brief and train the sales force at each launch to ensure that they are aware and updated by the latest solution status and plans.
- Handovers to Product Management launched products to develop on-going business case targets
- Avail contest programs to boost sales.
- Develop respective dashboards to ensure visibility of subjective and objective targets achieved.
Cost Optimization:
- Ensure solution cost structure is best optimized.
- Maximizing the company bottom line via increasing revenues and minimizing the cost structure.
- Reporting on projects KPIs and manages risks to plan.
- Develop Product description with CSD and review Impact analysis.
- Define the product provider either ISP or Etisalat.
- Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities to maximize the return on investment.
- Negotiate with vendors / partners for better business opportunities.
Branding:
- Be an expert with respect to the competition.
- Directly contribution to Etisalat brand image via cobranding with global names.
- Communicate with the Marketing Communications team to develop ATL and BTL activities and collateral.
- Get NTRA required approvals for new products/services/ ICT Solutions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in telecommunications or computer engineering or Marketing
- Minimum 4 to 8 years’ experience in relevant field
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products/ solutions
- Full awareness of Product Management /development
- Full awareness of International business
- Excellent writing and documentation skills
- Excellent mentorship and teamwork skills
- Excellent reporting and presentation skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- In-depth knowledge of the industry and nature of ICT solutions (Cloud Computing, M2M/ IoT, big data, managed services, etc.).
- Product marketing with technical acumen and deep understanding of digital landscape
