Job Description
The Procurement Supervisor is responsible for monitoring the procurement process and for keeping an up-to-date and accurate record of all the approved suppliers of the company.
Responsibilities
- Supervising the Senior Purchasing Specialists and the Admin Specialists.
- Collecting procurement plans from all of the company’s units and teams.
- Reviewing the supplier’s files to ensure that all of the required paperwork is included and the contract is updated.
- Implementing the online purchasing system of payment.
- Preparing and submitting a monthly activity report to the administration manager with the progress of work in the Administration department.
- Performing a regular evaluation of all the suppliers (including food suppliers), and an evaluation of the pricing arrangements to ensure that the company achieves the most favorable commercial terms.
- Reviewing the inventory of materials and equipment, and performing random spot checks.
- Handling the significant supply issues to ensure awareness of any potential difficulties.
- Supervising the annual physical count of the company’s property and keeping an updated and accurate record.
- Supervising the food services and ensuring its high quality.
- Negotiating and managing the suppliers’ contracts.
- Performing spot checks on the workers.
- Supervising the preparation for the events and meetings.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any related field
- 3-5 years of experience in the same position
- Good command of English
- Excellent computer skills
