Software Project Leader - Advanced Driving Assistance Systems

• Manage Embedded Software projects and/or application development projects in a multicultural with virtual location environment.
• Understand business need and deal with stakeholder on daily basis to define and manage their expectation in order to plan and deliver the project in budget, on time, with the expected scope and quality.

Engineering and Technical responsibilities

• Responsible for an innovative technical product delivery to Auto makers.
• Support with basic knowledge about software and architecture

Reusability and Technology management

• Able to learn and understand Automotive industry business and main drivers
• Able to make use of similar project and increase project reusability
• Drive and encourage innovation and learning in his/her project

Communication with Customer

• Interact daily with international customers.
• Fully engage customer with Auto makers R&D team.

Stakeholders management

• Interact with Valeo international site in different locations, Germany, Ireland, USA, & China.
• Report project status to Valeo Cairo management and Valeo Globally.
• Interact with other R&D metier such as system & hardware.
• Manage software team dedicated or not, assign to them the work packages and tasks.
• Manage remote team members in other Valeo sites.
• Review regularly with the Program Manager to check alignment between needs and availabilities
• Set Stakeholder expectations
• Understand escalations and how to use it and react to it.
• Follow up with team members on the open actions.
• Direct & support team members and challenge their projects decisions.

Monitor & control projects schedules, budget and risks.

• Prepare with Team Leaders the Software breakdown and estimates its components
• Contribute to the identification of the needs in terms of resources, equipments, investments
• Deliver quality audit & compliance findings together with Quality Leaders.
• Follow up on the projects as per defined projects reporting mechanisms.
• Responsible for projects closure and resources feedback.
