Job Description
- Integration activities for digital banking systems and Core banking
- Financial application background
- Preferable to have a banking background
- Debug and troubleshoot.
- Coordinate and train users to perform banks applications tests
- Organizing the testing, acceptance, approval and handover of the project:
- Prepare test scripts.
- Coordinate and train users to perform tests.
- Debug and troubleshoot.
- Prepare user acceptance statement and obtain user sign-off.
- Prepare user manuals.
- Performs applications systems administration
- Manages and monitors applications and activities of all Systems applications and supports critical applications
- Tests and implements systems related upgrades and problems fixes.
- Prepares systems and applications for new branches/departments/units and ATMs expansions
- Diagnoses financial systems issues and manages support cases related to system/software issues.
- Maintains confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.
- Becomes familiar with ITD policies, services, and staff.
- Acts as ‘Duty Officer’ on a weekly rotating on-call roll, who will be assigned many small to medium operational tasks such as systems monitoring, initial troubleshooting, and emergency responses.
- Applying system patches and upgrades & mandates as necessary (within policy and procedures established for testing and acceptance)
Job Requirements
- A University degree in computer science or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in applications and/or systems support.
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience with systems integration methods and technologies.
- Ability to execute plans and meet project objectives.
- Ability to respond and resolve diverse needs of team and business customers and must be detail-oriented and able to multi task.
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills are key assets; self-confidence is a must. Must have the ability to talk to both technical developers and business managers and be able to stand up in a meeting and tell the most senior person in the room unwelcome news, for example an IT project will not make its deadline.
