- Automated browser testing and unit testing
- Working in a team of developers in an agile environment to produce high quality web applications
- Writing a mixture of front end and back end code
- Ensuring that sites are developed to be robust, stable and scalable
- Contributing to the architectural design and technology selection processes
Job Requirements
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Commercial experience with code management systems
- Experience with integrating Web APIs
- Ability to deliver scalable applications and carry out benchmarking
- Experience of PHP Framework
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA
- Strong HTML/XML/CSS/JS/AJAX skills with at least 4 years commercial experience
- Strong coding experience in PHP/MySQL in multiple MVC frameworks
- Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility, SEO and browser compatibility
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies, including HTML5 and CSS3
