Job Description

General Purpose:

  • Responsible for planning, implementing and directing the sales activities of the company in a designated area to achieve sales objectives.
  • He’ll be responsible for building and monitoring his own sales team.

Duties

  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Building the sales Department, through creating his own team and monitoring their performance
  • Responsible for managing the sales team, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets
  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
  • Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products.
  • Plan and direct sales team training and assisting with the development of sales presentations and proposal
  • Responsible for monitoring the performance of the sales team by establishing a system of reports
  • Analyze data to identify sales opportunities

Job Requirements

  • A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred
  • At least 6 years experience, 2 of them in a managerial level
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales team.
  • Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Background in travel or Tourism
