Senior cloud Engineer

Our Senior Cloud Engineer works in partnership with Product, Development, Service, and Support teams to help design and develop reliable, scalable, and cost-effective systems that meet corporate and client standards. Cloud Engineers ensure that hosted systems remain healthy by seeking solutions that reduce maintenance complexity while increasing security, reliability, and capability. This role will also be responsible for mentoring more junior team members and actively working towards improving processes alongside the Lead Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Implements and supports technology stack for Engineering teams to leverage continuous integration for product delivery and deployments
• Migrates existing server environments to managed services and/or cloud-based platforms
• Monitors and automates system, application, and cloud environment-related maintenance tasks
• Creates more stable operating environments by continuously improving the infrastructure to be easily deployable and scalable
• Creates and maintains accurate documentation of systems, solutions, guidelines, and processes
• Ensures adherence to all security practices
• Evaluates and adopts new tools and cloud technologies to improve build and release processes
• Reports on and reviews the utilization of the assets, services, and processes with leadership team members
• Manages application and infrastructure deployments to customer-facing and internal environments
