Job Description

  • Planning and Following up the preventive and corrective maintenance on production lines , working on action plans needed to maximize the lines efficiency.
  • Responsible for utilizing the direct and indirect raw material and material in process consumption needed for the production processes
  • Schedule daily, weekly, monthly production activities based on orders and stock provision to ensure availability of minimal stocks.
  • Coordinating with the plant manager in setting the plant’s objectives and KPIs.
  • Setting up strategies for continuous improvement for the manufacturing processes.
  • Applying Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma strategies.
  • Making daily, weekly and monthly reports to the Plant manager and Operations manager
  • Accurate and timely production figure reporting.
  • Ensuring that all designated areas are always kept clean and hazard free.
  • Primary responsibility for 5-S compliance.
  • Creating and Monitoring of monthly and annual production and maintenance budgets.
  • Monitoring of spare parts consumed and order new spares if required.
  • Close monthly energy cost in EMis.
  • Close monthly spare consumption record.
  • Monthly evaluation of new employees.
  • Manage training for new employees.
  • Ensuring that all shifts employees are on time and present for the duration of their designated times.
  • Ensuring that all production and maintenance personnel are properly attired during their working hours.
  • Responsible for shift employee’s overtime, vacations and absences.
  • Active implementation of compliance with the quality management regulations like hygiene, safety engineering, environmental and fire safety.

Job Requirements

  • Experience from 10: 15 years
  • B.Sc of Mechanical Engineering
  • Handle pressure & meet deadlines
  • Motivate, delegate and supervise Maintenance staff
  • Mobilize Company resources in order to achieve objectives
  • Create safe work environment.
  • Supervision and creating motivating climate
  • Interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Supervisory techniques
  • Required to work in noisy area most of the time
  • Work experience in the production field
  • Must be a fit to the company’s culture in terms of punctuality, attitude, responsibility, department integration, personnel respect, strictness, accuracy and H&S;standards
