Senior PHP Developer

Main Duties:

• Write “clean”, well designed code.
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.
• The developer will support gathering requirements, designing technical solutions, and extending and refactoring an existing application to support growing needs.
• Your role will be to work within the PHP team on exciting projects including websites, web applications and APIs for mobile apps backend among other activities.
• You will be expected to develop applications using PHP modern frameworks such as Yii2 & Laravel5 in addition to open source content management systems such as Drupal & WordPress.
• Develop, test, debug and maintain web application/REST web service based solutions in PHP.
• Applies knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients.
• Software project support and maintenance.
• Plan and execute your work on several projects on our existing, future systems.
• Produce detailed specification
• Contribute in all phases of the development life cycle
• Analyze system requirements and design Enterprise Web Solutions.
• Design and develop databases using ERDs & Mysql Database.
• Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Design and develop databases using ERDs & Mysql Database.
• Must have working knowledge on Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
• Experience in common third-party APIs.
• Web Services - Experience building modern web services using XML and JSON.
• Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Develop features across multiple subsystems within our applications, including collaboration in requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing and deployment
• Familiarity with security and encryption.
• Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
