Job Description
- Provides information and frequent updates to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, recommendations, and implementation progress.
- Analyze revenues, commissions, expenses to ensure they have recorded appropriately on a monthly basis.
- Interacting and cooperating with the other departments´ teams to update actuals, yearly budgets, and forecasts.
- Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis, report on variances, correct discrepancies.
- Develop monitoring systems to track overall performance (financial, operational, sales) and status of strategic initiatives.
- Determine financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results; identifying trends, recommending actions.
- Assist with preparing corporate reporting requirements and make recommendations for improvements.
- Handle the development of the market assessment report, strategy reports and the company’s financial model thorough researching market conditions, trends, competitors, and developments.
- Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls and standard operating procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance.
- 2 – 4 years of experience preferably in FMCG
- Strong and highly accurate abilities to develop, maintain and update financial models.
- Highly proficient in spreadsheets, presentations.
- High research and analytical skills.
- Detail oriented; works with a high degree of accuracy.
- Flexibility in handling new tasks.
- Able to work in a pressurized and demanding environment and prioritize tasks and workload accordingly with the ability to meet changing deadlines.
- Effective communications skills with a good command in both English and Arabic spoken and written.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish.
- Team player with the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external parties to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
