Spare Parts Buyer

Job Purpose:

• To ensure a smooth Spare Parts Purchasing Operations that leads to achieving set objectives and KPIs through assuring the full alignment with the Organization policies & objectives in order to increase efficiency & effectiveness of the Spare Parts Procurement in coordination with the other concerned department ( like : Engineering Department ) to a void out of stock case.

Job Duties:

• Communicates the plant managers to propose the Overall Annual Spare Parts across the group & monitors its tracking.
• Reviews the providers list & seeking for new providers & alternatives to ensure a smooth operation.
• Liaises approved spare parts suppliers for sourcing of spare parts to ensure the conformity of the purchased parts. (SPEX)
• Negotiates payment terms and lowest price with the suppliers.
• Performs supplier's Audit to make sure of the efficiency & credibility of the suppliers
  Prepare comparison sheet detailing price, terms of payment and terms of delivery submit for review and approvals.
• Reviews & update items coding on the ERP System in coordination with the warehouse team to confirm the right coding.
• Maintains purchasing orders related records including requisitions, comparison sheet, quotations etc.)
• Develops reports statistics for each supplier to measure supplier performance.
