Job Description

Main Duties:

  • Maintain highest standards of professional conduct, ethics and integrity in provision of the services in his/her department.
  • Update standard costs; Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
  • Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close
  • Accumulate and apply overhead costs as required by generally accepted accounting principles
  • Analysis Conduct ongoing process constraint analyses
  • Report on margins by product and division ; maintain all entries related to the task on ERP system
  • Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing in particular on spending variances
  • Participate in the development of Cost Management policies, procedures and systems and ensure the interpretation and implementation of these policies.
  • Ensure that all Projects are monitored through cost and M IS reports (i.e Recoverability & Profitability Re port) to ensure that all projects of Malomatia are well controlled to enable the delivery of the business
  • Provide top management with recommendations and proposals for the continuous reduction in costs of project and operations
  • Examine and review unusual cost records and ensures cost data is al located properly and to apply cost accounting principles for detail inform
  • Reviewing al l expenses occurred Records on all departments and project s in an accurate cost
  • Plan and implement appropriate shifts in strategy for cost allocation to meet the Malomatia projects needs and align with the Company's aggressive growth plans aimed at minimizing the risks on various projects
  • Ensure projects' cost consolidation on a timely basis; oversee monitoring of project cost reports and address variances if any with a focus to resolving them to obtain final approval of the concerned auth
  • Coordinate with IT department for system issues, maintenance and development such as production, purchasing, import/export, accounts payable, accounts receivable, import/export IT, receiving, shipping, and
  • Coordinate with peers and report to supervisors in relation to al l functions perform med when required
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, and provide all required information to the concerned parties in order to facilitate the preparation of internal and external audit reports
  • Stay abreast of latest applicable finance and accounting software and with respect to all other project consolidation related financial operati
  • Carry out al l other duties as and when requested by the Management.

Job Requirements

  • University degree with specialization in Finance or Accounting Professional Certification such as CMA is preferable.
  • About 4 - 7 years of experience of which a minimum of 2- 3 years should be in a similar position responsibility, preferably in a similar industry.
