Job Overview
Execute, monitor and supervise all project technical civil aspects regarding engineering, technical documentation, procurement and installation support.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Determines project specifications (with project team / manager) by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies
- Plan and review electrical engineers tasks related to the project engineering and procurement activities
- Evaluate and confirm (with project team / manager) the technical designs and drawing produced from technical department according to site conditions
- Provide technical reports to the operations manager and the project manager in relation to project technical details
- Handle all procurement activities and purchase orders related to the project (with QA/QC engineer & operations manager)
- Plan and maintain quality standards (with quality officer) regarding engineering and procurement technical aspects
- Provide onsite trainings to foremen and technicians for the related tasks regarding installation and commissioning when needed
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintains project database by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data.
- Execute special project installations when required in coordination with the project manager
Job Requirements
Qualifications & skills
- Electrical engineering degree with minimum 1 year experience in construction site work and/or technical office work, responsible on steel structures design, design review, quality inspections and installation supervision of Solar PV mounting structures for mega scale PV projects.
- Good technical reporting and computer skills
- Good planning and scheduling skills
