Job Description
One of the core pillars in Brantu’s mission is to provide an unrivalled price comparison.
- As a Backend Engineer, You will be responsible for designing, building, testing and managing web crawlers in Cairo, Egypt office.
- The web crawlers have to be designed with abstraction in mind to provide scalability and adaptability to multiple data sources.
- You will be also responsible for building and managing a flexible admin system fitting the needs of the data managers.
- Execute tests, collect and analyze data from websites
- Design a modular way to build web crawlers.
- Make sure the prices are updated
- Build internal tools and admin system supporting Data manager.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and initiator.
Job Requirements
- Understands web crawling
- Strong knowledge of Node Javascript & NPM
- Strong knowledge of document based databases (Mongo DB)
- 1-3 years of work experience
- Have proven track of projects
- Strong knowledge of Scrum methodology.
- Hard worker
