We are looking for an (Implementation Engineer)
Job Description:
The Implementation Engineer will work as part of a technical support team delivering a quality service to single/multiple clients using a variety of hardware and software products and have the following responsibilities:
- implementation, Support, and Maintenance of Data Domain, NetWorker, Avamar, DPA, IDPA, and Cyber Recovery.
- Knowledgeable of the latest DELL Technologies Data Domain, NetWorker, Avamar, DPA, IDPA, Cyber Recovery and proficient in recovery, break-fix, and resolving the issues.
- Coordinate with Unix, Windows, and VMware teams for resolving the issues and fix backup failures.
- Have hands-on knowledge with Data Domain, NetWorker, Avamar, DPA, IDPA, and Cyber Recovery.
- Participate in and coordinate DR-related activities.
- To have knowledge of Oracle RMAN, SQL, VADP backups integration with Data Domain, NetWorker, Avamar, DPA, IDPA, and Cyber Recovery.
- Engage in Backup Infrastructure software/hardware upgrade.
- Knowledge of Backup/recovery strategy of all ESX servers.
- Server/Client installation on different platforms (Unix/Windows/Linux).
- Knowledge in managing Domains, Clients, Users through Create and Manage Dataset, Schedule, and Retention Policy.
- Works with senior peers to develop change management procedures.
- Creates and maintains documentation.
- Creates investment proposals and presents concepts during team meetings.
- Provides assistance with system solution design.
Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Dell Technologies Backup experience (Data Domain, NetWorker, Avamar, DPA, IDPA, and Cyber Recovery).
- Working on an enterprise-level technology team
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience/hands-on knowledge with Data Domain, NetWorker, Avamar, DPA, IDPA, and Cyber Recovery.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Dell Technologies Certification.
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
- Windows Server 2003/2008.
- VMWare experience.
- Experience working with High Availability Environments.
