Job Description

MBS Is Hiring A House Keeper Manager For A Multinational Firm Located In Egypt

  • Schedules employees in accordance with scheduled plans, and adjust staffing as necessary for changes in operation
  • To extend full support to the training department for proper training, and to follow up on training comments by immediate actions, and emails respond.
  • Makes sure, and follow up staff practicing the skills training which has been given by the training department to consistently maintain the site in the cleanest way possible, and to provide reliable service
  • Ensures LEEDS’ cleaning system applied on daily basis e.g. color coding, trolley standard & content, H&S procedures, and etc.
  • Supervises the daily activities of the housekeeping assistant, supervisor & staff
  • Monitors the responses on customer comment, identifies problem areas and formulates solutions
  • Together with the assistant and the supervisors, conducts daily inspections of site, all the areas, and follow-up where necessary
  • Makes sure that furnishing, facilities and equipment within the housekeeping areas are maintained in the cleanest possible condition, and ensure that repair and maintenance is executed when needed
  • Brings all needs for repair to the attention of the Engineering department
  • Oversees inventory, purchasing, disbursement, and cost control for all cleaning tools, uniforms, cleaning supplies, and housekeeping related machinery and equipment
  • Schedules and supervises all rotational and special cleaning programs as required
  • Responsible for “lost and Found” control
  • Emails immediate respond on daily basis, and following up all instructions received with immediate action
  • Conduct daily morning briefing with assistant, supervisors & janitors
  • Makes sure proper hand over and communication has been maintained between shifts
  • Orders and keeps track of uniforms for all employees
  • Controls and analyses departmental costs on an ongoing basis: takes action to control negative deviations
  • Analyses own budget, and takes corrective action and follow-up
  • Assists in the development of the company’s annual business plan, by providing input regarding housekeeping issues
  • Follow up using LEEDS’ site operation forms for documentation
  • To follow up strictly to meet the deadline for any requested tasks
  • At the beginning of each month the attendance sheet of all sub contractors e.g. Spider, staff transportation cars, Etc…., to be send to the Regional Housekeeping Manager
  • Monitors and makes sure housekeeping follows all applicable laws: especially with regards to health, safety, and security of employees and customers
  • Ensures highest levels of customer satisfaction regarding housekeeping areas, by providing quality customer services and amenities according to corporate standards

REPORTS TO : Regional Housekeeping Manager

Job Requirements

  • Graduated From Hotel And Tourism Universities , Institutes
  • Experience In The Same Title For 7 Years At Least
  • Have Previous 5 Stars Hotels , International Firms Experience
  • Age Not More Than 45 Years
  • Very Good In English , Another Language Will Be A PLUS
  • 8 Working Hours , 5 Working Days
