Job Description

  • Provide leadership, motivate and develop reporting staff to ensure that the function has the necessary skill base and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution in providing services across the company.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with corporate HR strategy across the business in order to maximize the potential of the company's human capital and ensure that all legislative requirements are met.
  • Develop, implement and maintain Compensation and Benefits policies and practices that ensure that employees are fairly and competitively remunerated in line with their contribution and that company is able to attract and retain high caliber employees.
  • Develop and implement recruitment policies and procedures that enable the recruitment of high caliber employees into the business that will enable the Company to meet its objectives.
  • Develop and gain agreement to strategies, plans and operating budgets for the Human Resources Department, monitor performance against these and initiates corrective action to ensure targets are met.
  • Develop and ensure implementation of the performance management, training and career development plans in line with the company's values and objectives to ensure all employees receive suitable training, regular feedback and coaching to enhance their performance.
  • Develop staff organization charts in line with Succession plans ensuring that future plans are met by highly qualified, committed and motivated staff.
  • Ensure the provision and maintenance of accurate, up to date personnel records and statistics.

  • As a member of the top team, helps develop the strategic program of [the company] and provides advice which ensures that business objectives are achieved.

Job Requirements

  • 20 to 25 or more years’ in HR and operational experience.
  • Previous work experience in Pharmaceutical and/or FMCG Companies is a must.
  • University degree in a business related discipline

Successful track record with reference to:

  • Strategic Human Resources Management
  • Building up HRM as a "Business Partner"
  • Developing and managing a HRM team 4. Achievement of objectives
  • In-depth knowledge of Egyptian labor market
  • Experienced (at least participated) in developing and implementing of a HRM organization in a private sector company in a high competitive environment.
  • Experienced in various HR functions
  • Languages: Fluent Arabic and English (oral/written)
  • Strong ability to deal with complex employee and management issues
  • Target oriented thinking and acting
  • Strong, assertive and self-motivated personality which is able to motivate a team
