Job Description

Net trade sales , In-market sales, Portfolio management and Profitability, as per the J&J guidelines and local laws & regulations

  • Deliver on P&L targets
  • Set the region overall objectives (growth, market share.) in line with the region objectives.
  • Lead & communicate short-term and long-term vision strategies and region requirements for the business
  • Set required budget and aligning them with the priority products.
  • Liaise with distributors to make sure that sales are meeting with the forecast while maintaining adequate inventory level.
  • Monitor sales progress and expenses.
  • Review and approve marketing, sales, MSL and support functions
  • Search for business opportunities and business development.

 Development of high potential staff & second line leaders

  • Recruit and retain the best talents.
  • Develop subordinates and preparing successors.
  • Resource optimization.
  • Create harmony among various functions / people.
  • Ensure proper communication between unit members and other units.
  • Charge and motivate team to achieve the region objectives.
  • Lead others by setting objectives giving encouragement and modeling behavior

Create and keep an excellent company Image and reputation on the long run within the key stakeholder

  • Maintain contact with the market & key customers
  • Manage the region for a compliant profitable growth
  • Ensure that Credo’s values and policies are adhered to in the region.
  • Comply with local laws & HCBI guidelines, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Policy on Business Conduct (PBC).
  • Report Adverse Event & product quality complaints as per J&J Pharmacovigilance and quality guidelines.

Compliance Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety reporting requirements (timely AE/PQC reporting) as set out in company policies and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are met and, where applicable, appropriately managed when planning projects, developing materials, executing projects and contracting vendors
  • Ensure HCC and legal requirements (Fair Market Value, Transfer of Value rules, Due Diligence rules) are fully understood, appropriately managed and, where applicable, complied when planning projects, contracting a TPI, executing projects and contracting vendors
  • Ensure inspection readiness with respect to personal training compliance, and availability of recent CV and individualized Job Description

Job Requirements

  • Min 8-10 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing or Country leadership, and ideally experience in Market Access of a Pharmaceutical Company
  • Good knowledge of finance processes and accounting rules and Profit/Loss
  • Experience and know how on Iraq market: knowledge about the system in Iraq, Kimadia, distributors, KOLs, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience on how the operations work in the pharmaceutical and in Iraq in particular: knowledge and understanding of centers, private market, and tenders
  • Excellent Leadership skill, prioritizing the development of individuals, and creating high-performing teams and organizations
  • Entrepreneurial, achiever mindset
  • Ability to plan and prioritize own work weekly, monthly for reporting purposes and to meet quality standards and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills  to  deal  with  sensitive  and  occasionally  contentious  issues  of  financial  and  HR management

  • High degree of business ethics and integrity
  • Fluent in English & Arabic.
