Job Description
- Drives customer based demand planning.
- Responsible for 18 mth rolling 12nc forecast (QXP).
- Executes on channel inventory targets through VMR.
- Leads Project forecasting based on sales pipeline - Continuously.
- Demand confirmations review with Supply Planning (Jointly with FG planning).
- Execute the PIPO process for planning in the Market. (Marketing accountable).
- Takes corrective action plan for slow moving and obsolete stocks.
- Identifies risks & opportunities to the financial plans.
- Drives FG inventory health through forecast quality. Own slow moving reduction.
- Integrates channel inventory into Demand Planning.
- Delivers best in class Customer Service through on time in full product availability.
- Adapts & improves Customer Service offer.
- Works as a Demand Planner on problems of moderate scope where the analysis of planning data requires a review of a variety of factors using Root Cause Analysis.
- The development of the solution requires a multi-disciplinary approach and knowledge of basic planning principles, -theories and - concepts.
- Formulates the solution for (technical) partial problems by combining previous experiences based upon technical analysis and planning (feasibility) studies.
- May lead small planning projects, managing a small number of people.
- Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain /Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of Experience in Supply Chain Demand Planning.
- Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
- Deep working knowledge of SCM processes, Systems, forecasting and demand planning, sales and operations planning, distribution and related concepts.
- Has working knowledge of company products and services.
- Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
- Sales value of the planned products: € 30 –100 M.
- Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors and functional peer groups.
- Systems Savvy (SAP, Other ERP) User experience.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic Language.
- Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Outlook, MS Office and related business and communication tools.
