Job Description
- Fundamentals of overhauling, repairing and replacing parts for equipment.
- Receiving the customer`s complains and fully in charge to solve it.
- Monitoring the outgoing jobs regarding the customer complaints and requests and making technical analysis.
- Training and supervising the maintenance staff (engineers and technicians).
- Improving maintenance department performance (ideology, tools, daily operation, crew performance).
- Organize schedule, assign and direct maintenance team for in-house and outcall operations.
- Making scheduled checks for customer’s machinery and parts.
- Detecting electric and mechanical failures and solving problems of the equipments.
- Preparing technical reports for machines before and after maintenance.
- Contacting customers to find the technical problems and be sure of customer satisfaction.
- Visiting customer’s site with when needed for installation, operation, maintenance and repair, to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.
- Carrying out quality site inspections with maintenance assigned team.
- Preparing the workshop with equipments and material needed in maintenance operations.
- Monitoring & organizing the warehouse stock of spare parts and preparing spare parts lists needed in the future.
- Monitoring & organizing the local purchasing of maintenance work.
- Arranging with other departments to finish the technical and administrative work.
- Managing the technical and administrative work inside the workshop.
- Composing and monitoring technical and financial proposals.
- Composing routine reports and correspondence.
- Achieving the financial target assumed by the top management.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of computer programs as Auto cad and office programs.
- Fluent English (writing and reading and conversation).
- Screw compressors, Air Dryers, Blowers, Generators, Chillers, Thermal oil Heaters, Cooling Towers, Pressure/Vacuum Vessels, Vacuum system, Heat exchangers, Forklifts, Vacuum Pumps.
- Must have understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic principles and components.
- Knowledge of different types of piping such as types of copper, black, aluminum and galvanized.
- AC & DC Motors.
- A good understanding of electronic control systems.
- Ability and knowledge to read, design and draw control electrical circuits.
- Must be able to properly use multi-meters, amp meters, vibration and infrared meters.
- Read and interpret documents such as blueprints, technical drawings, safety rules, product catalogs, technical data, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
