Job Description

The Testing/QC Engineer will join our engineering team and will be responsible for estimating, planning, and coordinating testing activities to ensure product quality and ensuring that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved.
- Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Job Requirements
- Required Skills: Strong experience in software development and quality assurance, demonstrated familiarity with software QA methodologies, tools, and processes; experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases; hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing; hands-on experience with automated testing tools; written and spoken fluency in English.
- Desirable Skills: Strong verbal and written communication; familiarity with SQL and scripting; ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment; demonstrated passion for technology and familiarity with the latest development techniques and methodologies.
- Desirable Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field desirable.
- Desirable Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in software development in team/agile environments. Previous experience with e-commerce, consumer-facing web applications, multi-lingual/internationalization preferred.
