Job Description
- Inspects and samples incoming raw materials manufactured outside of the company, packaging components and labeling materials, per sampling requirements.
- Completes all relevant transactions to document inspection and sample consumption.
- Submits samples to laboratory.
- Inspects all labeling components for correctness against the approved. eg., text, bar-codes and revision date.
- Initiates data packets for incoming materials, if applicable.
- Receives laboratory samples from production by performing the appropriate transactions.
- Aids in maintaining the Quality Inspection area and sampling rooms.
- Documents, samples and inspects according to appropriate SOP.
- Responsible for communicating atypical and/or inspection issues to QC Management.
- Maintain product analysis lab equipment including regularly prescribed cleaning.
- Ensure that preventative maintenance and calibrations are performed as required.
- Performs, supervises and maintains GLP, safety regulations and high standards of lab. performance and housekeeping.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or science.
- At least three years practical experience in related job in Pharmaceutical
- Certifications an advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma is a plus.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, equipment's and databases
