Senior Accountant - Construction

An International Construction company located in Doha , Is now opening its new branch in Cairo.

• Maintain accounting controls by establishing a chart accounts defining accounting policies and procedures.
• Avoid legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing accounting regulations; recommending new procedures.
• Issue financial statement for a certain period in form of a balance sheet that reflects the company's actual position.
• Provide all the necessary information, whether in the form of accounting reports or financial statements, periodic or non periodic in the form of notes or statistics to oversee aspects of the company's activity and approve all the documents issued by the General Manager.
• Follow up on salaries, in advanced payments.
• Prepare and records asset, revenue, and expenses entries by complaining and analyzing account information.
• Summarizes financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
• Financial and profitability analysis on a requested basis.
• Auditing and verifying documents.
• Maintain bank accounts by requesting disbursements.
• Review bank statements.
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile traction.
• Provide input to department’s goal settings process
• Maintain and coordinate ongoing project costs with Project Managers and other personnel to ensure that all financial aspects of project execution are on track.
• Prepare financial statements and reconciliations and review invoices to make sure the project is on budget before passing them along to the Project Manager for approval.
