Job Description
- Drafting Engineering Workshop mould designs and brick layouts on AutoCad (2D/3D) and Solid Edge in coordination with Technical Office
- Coordinating mould and spare parts fabrication process between Engineering Workshop, Technical Office, and Production departments
- Providing technical support during mould installation on hydraulic presses when necessary in coordination with Quality department
- Evaluating and preparing refractory brick tenders BOQs and quotations for Mould designs and costing.
- Auditing Engineering workshop personnel for compliance to mould designs and designated fabrication process
- Filing and organization of mould and spare part designs, tender documents, and all department paperwork.
- Assisting with Mould / Brick database preparation and maintenance for ERP system
Job Requirements
- BSc in Mechanical / Construction Engineering
- Solid understanding of Metallurgy and Fabrication process is a plus
- Required 1-3 Years of relevant experience
- Previous experience in Refractory, Steel, Cement, or other Heavy Industries is a plus
- Leadership, maintenance planning experience is a plus
- AutoCad 2D-3D / Solid Works / Solid Edge Knowledge and Experience is a must.
- Excellent Microsoft Office suite knowledge (e.g. Word, Excel)
- Self-Motivated and Able to work under pressure
- Very Good Troubleshooting, Communication, Organizational, Time Management, Creativity, Critical Analysis, Self-learning, and Decision Making Skills.
- Good Written and Oral English and Arabic Skills
