Job Description
- We are looking for Linux Administrators in UAE!!! Candidate should be available on short notice 2-3 weeks at least!
- Long term project with one of the leading Airline companies. The contract will be initially 12 months, renewable. The position is located in Abu Dhabi.
Job Requirements
- Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- At least 4 years experience of Linux systems administration (CentOS, RedHat)
- At least 4 years experience in installing, configuring, patching, troubleshooting, securing, diagnosing & repairing hardware
- At least 4 years data center operations experience
- At least 4 years experience with virtualization technologies (VMware) and configuration management (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt, etc.)
- A deep understanding of Linux systems including kernel, network, disk, CPU & memory
- Strong understanding of centralized authentication (LDAP)
- Strong understanding of metrics analysis & health monitoring (Graphite, Nagios, etc.)
- Exposure to cloud systems & concepts
- Scripting & programming languages such as shell, Perl, Ruby & Python
- Source control management (Subversion, Git, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple projects, while ensuring that commitments and timetables are met
- Ability to partner with internal stakeholders to design operational solutions
- Goal oriented, forward thinker that can provide solutions for complex technical problems.
