We’re looking to expand our existing Software Development function, with a React Front End developer to work in a fast-paced cross-disciplinary team.
- You’ll be responsible for designing and developing engaging user interfaces that interact with REST APIs, and use your JavaScript skills to implement front-end logic. You will be maintaining and supporting existing web applications, ensuring that they are well maintained. You will express ideas through wire-frames and be mindful of delivering a good user experience.
- Experience with Python is considered a bonus
- Turning requirements into great designs
- Producing wire-frames to express your ideas to non-technical people
- Providing time estimates
- Implementing React UIs and front end business logic based on your designs
- Ensuring consistency in the look and feel across multiple products
Job Requirements
- Able to demonstrate through examples, professional, responsive UI designs
- 3+ years commercial React experience
- JavaScript
- HTML and CSS
- Comfortable with Json and integrating with backend API’s
- Knowledge and experience of cross-browser testing with and awareness of W3C accessibility standards
- Git
- Experience working well as part of a remote team
- Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (3 months) - With possible extension depending on business requirements
