Job Description

  1. Follow the day-to-day operational tasks related to running solutions to ensure continuity of work by monitoring all city touch points & access nodes (active and passive), open tickets to internal and external teams and act on outages according to the operations manual and agreed processes.
  2. Add and configure the new touch points according to the new projects, replacements & man over projects taking place.
  3. Follow-up and escalate the opened tickets with different stakeholders and responsible teams internally and externally according to the agreed escalation matrix and processes.
  4. Gathering information, analyzing, and documenting all city daily incidents, generate the daily, weekly, monthly reports.
  5. Resolve and/or assign different support tickets or incidents tickets according to the defined process and operations manual.
  6. Work with, cooperate & support with different teams internally and with external different stakeholders depending on smart cities systems.
  7. Understand the components of running systems, Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
  8. Identify and notify risks to management, propose solutions and ideas to manage them. 
  9. Support direct supervisor with daily briefing by preparing incident reports with evidence during shift hours.
  10. Strong adherent to dynamic changes and direct supervision unregulated requests (events, external top management visits, urgent projects).

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  1. Bachelor Degree / Computer Science or Engineering degree is preferred
  2. Networking and infrastructure background is a must.
  3. Good command of English
  4. Reporting skills.

  1. Solid knowledge about networking,  dispatching field tickets and access network troubleshooting.
  2. High Analytical Skills for identifying solutions for complex problems.
  3. Fast Learner, able to propose new ideas for continuous improvements.
  4. Flexibility regarding new topics, quick understanding of new market demands including technology and business topics.
  5. High motivation to take responsibility and provide insights for decision-makers.
  6. Capability to benchmark competitors and identify ideas for having competitive edge products.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate, drive business, lead changes and co-operation.
