Job Description

General Responsibilities:

Under the general direction of a designated supervise, maintain undergraduate IFP admissions process in terms of correspondence, certificate evaluation and issuing provisional & final acceptance.

Duties:

  • Supervise 3 staff members in performing the daily admissions tasks.
  • Review the applications, follow up on the applicants’ status.
  • Communicate with applicants by emails to ensure completing the files with official documents.
  • Verify and evaluate the applicants’ credentials to ensure the authenticity of the submitted documents.
  • Send provisional acceptance letters to qualified students.
  • Send final acceptance letters to qualified student who completed their files.
  • Follow up with the student billing to verify the number of paid and to enroll students.
  • Extract reports from Power Campus to verify the admissions information.
  • Communicate with the Recruitment office to update them with all the needed information to complete their tasks.
  • Verify the applicants’ information on Power Campus.
  • Administer ZOHO CRM and monitoring the staff working on it.
  • Assume leadership role in promoting and enhancing University’s enrollment target.
  • Advise and counsels students, parents, high school guidance counselors, University personnel, and public constituencies regarding admission and/or transfer to the University; interprets University and Admission policies and procedures.
  • Review and enforces academic program requirements and enrollment restrictions for all University schools and colleges, special programs and five regional campuses.
  • Make independent decisions on academic credentials of applicants and transferability in accordance with University-established policies and goals.
  • Work closely with the recruitment staff to attend events, meetings or programs designed to promote admission or higher education.
  • Maintain and updates permanent admission records, catalog library and other related files, compiles official admission reports.
  • Participate in other University and state committees and advisory groups.
  • Perform related duties as required.

Job Requirements

  • Education:         
  • Master’s degree in student affairs area or bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience:         
  • Experience within a customer-centric, transaction-based administration process an advantage.
  • Education Admission experience is desirable.
  • Strong managerial skills.
  • Skills:         
  • Very good command in English Language.
  • Good Communication Skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to make independent judgments and work under pressure.
  • Must be accurate and pay close attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively and work irregular and flexible hours.
  • Ability to use on-line computer systems.
