Job Description
A strong and capable chemist to be responsible for all quality control aspects in an OEM automotive paint manufacturer is needed.
- Responsible for controlling production processes according to standards
- Preparing quality control reports & required analysis
- Verify matching the production to the related technical specifications.
- Technical assistance to the production team in the process if needed
- Responsible for analysis and archiving of the samples
- Responsible for quality guidelines and databasing
- Proposing and implementing solutions improving the efficiency, costs and quality.
- Maintain Integrated Management System and certification to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 etc.
- Ensure documentation of key processes
- Work with manufacturing and other functional groups for troubleshooting investigations
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in OEM paint industry
- Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and 14001
- Good knowledge of the automotive paints industry
- Experience with color matching and formulation.
- Experience with colors and raw materials.
- Good knowledge in instruments such as spectrophotometer, gloss meter, etc.
