About the Job
- We are looking for a Web Developer to ensure and maintain DAMLAG's commitment to deliver the best possible quality of software products and services.
- As a Web Developer you will work as a team member of our development team to develop and create new products and services, as well as revamp and improve the existing ones. Your role will involve coding and developing for different projects.
Job Responsibilities and Functions:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, clean, and reliable code.
- Help maintain code quality and organization.
- Identify code bugs, and work on developing solutions to these problems.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, refactoring and code standards).
- Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design.
Job Requirements
Skill set:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- 0-3 Years of Experience; fresh graduates who are willing to learn and looking for a diverse and enriching web development experience are welcome to apply.
- Demonstrated knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS & JQuery. Familiarity with Ruby on Rails is preferred.
- Familiarity with Software Development Process.
- Good understanding of object oriented analysis and design.
- Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processors.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL database.
- Good knowledge of relational databases.
- Ability to follow coding standards.
- Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code.
- Highly Flexible, dynamic and quickly adapts to technology and process changes.
- Capable of committing to on-time delivery and strict deadlines.
- Proven working experience in software development.
- Preferred experience in developing highly interactive applications, with potential high users' traffic.
