Job Description
The Sales Associate is responsible for serving customers on the shop floor and answering their needs in a timely manner in order to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and achieve optimum sales results.
Core Functional Activities:
- Greet customers, offer assistance and serve them in order to ensure their needs are answered in a timely manner and in compliance with quality and customer service standards
- Arrange and replenish on a continuous basis the shop shelves and ensure that the shop floor and shelves are kept clean and tidy at all times
- Watch for and prevent security risks and thefts and escalate occurring incidents to the hierarchy in a timely manner in order to avert loss
- Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash payments efficiently and courteously
- Perform physical and electronic inventory of shop products on a regular basis as per company's guidelines in order to ensure accurate stock keeping.
- Up-sell and cross-sell products in order to reach hourly and daily sales targets.
- Inform Assistant Store Manager of unavailable and nonperforming products.
- Merchandize products under the appropriate sections according to sales trends, date of release, and as per the Visual Merchandizer recommendations.
- Keen to have all the information in regard to product knowledge.
- Open and close cash registers, count money, separate charge slips, coupons and vouchers, balance cash drawers and make deposits in order to ensure cash control is maintained at all times.
- Ticket, arrange and display merchandise, under the direction of the Area Merchandiser in order to promote sales.

Job Requirements
Essentials:
- Bachelor’s Degree is a plus
- Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.
- Attention to details
- Good English Language (Written and spoken).
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
- Previous experience in the industry/retail is a major plus
- 0-1 year of experience holding the same role.
