Job Description
Transportation Communication:
- Directs all messages to parents through a consistent and professional method.
- Keep abreast of all parents and students “updates” information and contacts.
- Receive all parents’ complaints and feedback.
- Lease between the bus monitor, driver and parents depending on the issue.
- Follow up on the required actions in order to solve the issue or reach to an agreement.
- Document all communication (comm. Form) with all the information needed during and after the parent communication and report to the transportation manager and business development manager.
- Keep updated with all messages to parents in order to be on top of all their questions and inquiries.
- Diplomacy and tact to handle the parents.
Leading bus monitors and drivers:
- Inspection meetings with the bus monitor and the driver of the concerned parent/student.
- Evaluate the drivers and bus monitors performance based on the parents’ documented feedback and frequent evaluations.
- Develop and update the standard operating procedures.
- Supervise students loading and unloading buses and assuring safety of students.
- Work closely with the HR department to control absence and disciplinary issues.
- Work closely with the HR Department in job descriptions, evaluations and training plans.
Maintenance and cleaning requests:
- Receive all maintenance and cleaning requests from teachers or employees.
- Direct all requests to the designated department.
- Follow up with the house keeping manager and school maintenance manager.
- Document and keep track of all requests and actions taken.
General:
- Coordinate and collaborate in all school events and major happenings, and has to be present at “all” events and after school gatherings.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in performing all the duties.
- Type correspondence, reports and other documents.
- Compile together and analyze all data for patterns reading and plans development.
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years operations assistant experience, preferable in an educational organization.
- Bachelors degree in any discipline.
- Customer service and communication skills.
- Firm personality
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Excellent Microsoft skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint…etc).
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
