Job Description
Linux Hosting Support Engineer who has the responsibility of administrating Linux web-servers with a strong knowledge in Linux Web-hosting industry and its related technologies like cPanel control panel.
You will be part of Dimofinf hosting engineers whom providing technical support and management of our services infrastructure, shared hosting, Dedicated Servers...etc. You will also be part of creative, smart people whom always like to automate everything using scripting languages like “Bash Script, Python, PHP” and other automation tools.
They are always working to provide the best quality of service and cutting edge technologies by the continuous of research and development.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- General administrating of Linux servers.
- Configuring, administrating and troubleshooting of ( Web, Database , Mail ) servers.
- Provide support for our customers using email and phone.
Job Requirements
Technical Skills (Must to have)
- Advanced knowledge of Linux operating system (CentOS, Redhat, Ubuntu)
- Advanced knowledge of cPanel/WHM control panel.
- Knowledge of bash shell scripting (or Python or Perl).
- Familiarity with web server apps/servers such as: Apache, MySQL, Exim, DNS, PureFTPD, ProFTPD.
- Know how to use package management systems such as YUM and APT.
- Minimum 2 years working knowledge as a system administrator.
