Job Description
- Preparing the annual operational plans in light of the strategic attitudes of the foundation; in coordination with directors of divisions and departments and submitting them to the Board of Directors for approval.
- Representing the link between the Board of Directors and members of Executive Administration; and submitting all required reports to the members of the Board of Directors.
- Participating in setting the general strategic goals and plans with members of Executive Administration and ensuring coordination among them across departments and divisions.
- Preparing the annual and long-term budgets for the foundation's activities; in association with head of departments and divisions' directors; and submitting them to the Board of Directors for review and approval.
- Reviewing the operational plans presented by members of Executive Administration and approving them.
- Managing and following up with the implementation of operational plans; comparing them with the schedule and budget; monitoring deviations; and making recommendations.
- Reviewing and approving the financial performance reports of the foundation; monitoring deviations; submitting periodic reports to the Board of Directors for review and approving; and making recommendations.
- Representing the foundation in special events (Conferences, Media, etc.), in contracts and substantive agreements.
- Ensuring the management of foundation's resources with the required efficiency and maintaining its assets and resources.
- Drawing up the succession plan for managerial positions; in coordination with the head of departments and Human Resources director; and making changes in the foundation's organizational structure.
- Ensuring the application of performance evaluation criteria for personnel, operations and quality of outcomes; ensuring the efficiency of evaluation systems; observing them; reviewing performance indicators regularly; and suggesting corrective actions.
- Guiding the development of the foundation's main policies of work and ensuring their application according to the foundation's strategic attitudes, laws and principles.
- Ensuring that there is effective communication across different levels of the foundation; positive work environment and maintaining substantive values in order to attract, motivate and retain employees within the foundation.
Personnel Management
- Holding evaluation sessions for the performance of his direct subordinates on the appointed time; reviewing and approving the performance evaluation of his indirect subordinates and ensuring that performance evaluation process is carried out on the appointed time efficiently and objectively.
- Observing and following up with the implementation of the training plan that is designed to develop the skills of all employees in the foundation
Job Requirements
Qualification / Experience
- Bachelor degree in any major.
- Holding an MBA is preferred.
- 10 to 15-years of experience in Non-profit Cultural Institutions.
