Job Description

  • Inspection of farms (either producer or production sites or producers in producer groups to assess compliance with the GLOBALG.A.P. Standard requirements.  This may include shadow inspection of the internal inspectors of producer groups or multisite with QMS.
  • Preparation for the assessment by studying legal, regulatory, and normative documents, as well as the assessment history of the client to be assessed.
  • Preparation of the detailed assessment plan by assigning specific roles to each member of the assessment team (when applicable) and ensuring the proper and effective carrying out of the part of the assessment that has been assigned.
  • Communicate with the contact person of Client (company/producer) to confirm the assessment plan and other matters related to the assessment.
  • Conducts the opening, the closing meetings with the representative persons of the Client (company/producer), and the members of the assessment team (when applicable).
  • Conducts the assessment by utilizing all the assessment methods (interviews, reviewing of records, observations, witnessing, and sampling) to collect objective evidence about the assessment.
  • Keeps detailed notes during the assessment and solves/handles difficult situations, assessment findings, and their significance.
  • Presents the assessment (inspection/audit) conclusions to the Client (company/producer) that has been assessed.
  • Verify and approve the corrective actions proposed by the Client (company/producer) for removing the nonconformities recorded, follow up on their timely implementation and their effectiveness.
  • Prepares the applicable reports, evaluating the assessment conclusions, and their matching with the requirements of the relevant standard, having the responsibility of the final recommendation on certification

Job Requirements

  • Min. Qualification: Graduate Agricultural faculty or equivalent + Min. work experience for 2 Years in the agricultural industry in relevant field
  • Has attended a HACCP principles Training for Min. 8 hours, based on the Codex Alimentarius principles, training shall cover site management, equipment, water, fertilizer, facilities, personal hygiene, and include practical case studies
  • Has attended Food hygiene training for Min. 8 hours.
  • Has attended a Crop Standards Training for Min. 8 hours. Shall cover Plant protection, fertilizer & IPM training.
  • Knows the up-to-date plant protection, fertilizer, and IPM principles (for Crops)
  • Able to identify food safety risks/food hazards
  • Able to evaluate the HACCP system and identify/challenge critical control points.
  • Able to carry out traceability checks and mass balance analyses
  • Previous worked experience as G.G. Inspector in the crop base scope/fruits and vegetable sub-scope.
  • Attended training course by an approved training for Min. 37 Hours in Management Systems (e.g.: ISO 9001, ISO 22000), BRC Food, IFS Food, previous G.G. Option 2, or 4, group audits of organic growers or others. 
  • At least Good command of speaking/written English.
