Job Description
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
- Plans concept by studying information and materials.
- Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
- Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
- Estimating the time required to complete the work.
- Developing design briefs that suit the Company's purpose.
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design.
- Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time.
- Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to related managers.
- Working with a range of media, including computer-aided design (CAD) and keeping up to date with emerging technologies.
- Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
- Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print.
- Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, account executives, web developers and marketing team.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in graphic design GUC Graduate is a MUST
- 2-4 years Working experience in Advertising Agency with solid portfolio
- Software: Adobe Creative Suite, 2D & 3D max, HTML, CSS, PHP would also be an advantage
- Operating Systems: Windows
- Browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, and others
- Highly skilled in photo retouching and Photoshop skills
- Good sense of color theory and composition
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software
- Exceptional creativity and innovation
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
- Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
