Job Description
Controls the accurate execution of the Instrument / Automation maintenance activities, optimizing its execution and support the efficient and cost effective operation of the plant.
General
- Overviews and controls that all Instruments and automation equipment in area of responsibility, operate within the specified parameters and technical characteristics, so as to ensure high quality of end product and optimization of production cost
- Controls that the approved maintenance schedule, including major shutdowns, of all instruments and automation infrastructure is accurately executed, and that the necessary resources for the everyday maintenance activities are available, thus supporting the continuous operation of the production
- Follows-up all instruments and automation maintenance procedures, evaluating their effectiveness and proposing improvements that will enable the electrical maintenance to function in an optimum and efficient way
- Optimizes the instruments / Automation maintenance operation of the plant, adjusting accordingly the schedule and execution of maintenance activities, using best available tools and procedures, in order to maximize equipment availability and increase the production’s end products.
Job Requirements
- Solid background of the weighing systems
- Solid background of the gas analyzer’s systems used in the cement industry
- Design control loop diagrams,
- Solid background of the PCS Siemens system (PLC Siemens familiar with the System overview and architecture: Subsystems for automation,
- monitoring and control, communication and engineering, Engineering concept: from I/O connection to the HMI level, network and hardware configuration, Plant view and process object view as plant-oriented structure of the project, Standardization by means of library concept/block concept, process tag types, models, Automation solutions via graphical engineering with CFC and SFC (Continuous/Sequential Function Chart)
- Solid background of the instrumentation (proximity, flow, level, pressures, e encoders, positions, Thermocouples, RTD, vibration transmitters and actuators, control valves )
- Improve the quality of measures
- Implement new sensors/ measures according to process needs.
- Define and manage the instrumentation upgrades.
- Manage instrumentation works of new installations.
- Solid background in STEP 7 System ( LAD, FBD, and STL )
- Very Good English is a must.
